Tom Germain is a Canadian who suddenly decided he couldn’t live with the endless winters in his land and uprooted himself and moved to Cozumel, Mexico in 2001. From there on in, he was condemned to seek out new warm worlds and imbibe the local culture. After Mexico, Tom settled in Argentina, then the Canary Islands (Spain), then Argentina again, then Mauritius, before finally landing in Colombia, where he’s been for the last two years.

Through the O’ Colombia blog, I attempt to chronicle my life in this colorful country. If you’re hoping to visit or live here, perhaps you’ll get insights here that no mere travel guide can offer!
